Greenpeace released their 9th version of the Guide To Greener Electronics. They rank the leading mobile and computer manufactures on their policies on eliminating harmful chemicals, and on taking responsibility for their products once their are thrown away by the consumer.
Manufactures should be obligated to do a better job to improve our environment. So it’s a good thing Greenpeace is trying to rank them. But I guess consumers are still responsible for buying the stuff… I probably have a few gadgets from this list too, like a mobile phone (Sony Ericsson), a PSP (Sony), a Nintendo DS (Nintendo), an iPod (or two, Apple), a laptop (Dell), a desktop computer (Apple) and two computer screens (Samsung).
