Yesterday I went with a friend to Play & Produce in Gent. It’s an event for musicians, dj’s, bands, producers, … full with info sessions, workshops, feedback sessions, and more… I really like the concept, and I was very glad to be there. But they could have done a better job with the schedule. Too many info sessions were overlapping, we have seen a lot of them, but just half of them.

Our feedback session was pretty cool too. We spoke with Nikolaï Pascual from USA Import, and we got some good tips for improving our song. If you want to take a listen to it, you can find it on the vi.be website.

In the meanwhile, I’m finishing the GizMag PDF #3 (finally, yeah I know). So get ready for some neat reading soon!

WebMag nr 37 is up. And I changed the design a bit again this week. I got responses of it being too busy. And they were probably right. I’m not going to change the whole design, so I tried to fix it with minor changes.

Tomorrow I’m going to Play&Produce in Gent. Kistov and I made a remix of the famous song of Benny Lava. And I’m very curious what how the feedback session will go. Will tell you later this weekend how it went.

I feel like I’m getting too political here… :) But how can  you ignore great songs, and awesome videoclips? Indeed, you can’t. So here is another one.

Just found this website, Tumblepage. It makes a Muxtape-like playlist of your audio posts on Tumblr. Great initiative. You see, they can’t kill online mixtapes!

I’ve set up a new Tumblr page. Nah, I’m not going to start yet another webpage… So, I’ll upload some songs to my GizTag Tumblr page. Too bad, Tumblr let’s you upload just 1 audiofile each day. So be patient for my playlist to fill up. :)

I’m not really following the elections in the US. But I guess if need to choose a side, I’ll go with The Crystal Method. They made an awesome mix about it too!
