You might have noticed somewhere (on Twitter), that I’m working on a new project “Alley”, together with the very nice people of Postcard of a Painting. (They are also the ones behind Mr Lapin.) There is still a lot of stuff to be done, but it’s going to be awesome! I’ll reveal more about it very soon.

In the meantime you can explore a new web issue. It didn’t arrive in time. But with all the preparations for Alley, I really didn’t had a chance to update GizMag sooner.

It’s past 1 o’clock in the morning, and it’s still freakin’ hot here. Or maybe I’m still glowing from Transformers 2… With Megan and Isabel…

Anyway.

I recently came across this art book called PULP. Looks pretty rad. Take a look yourself: http://gizmag.eu/issue/65/

Send me a postcard, drop me a line,
Stating point of view
Indicate precisely what you mean to say
Yours sincerely, Wasting Away.

Give me your answer, fill in a form
Mine for evermore
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I’m sixty-four?

I’m not actually a fan of the Beatles, but for some reason I had to think of this song now. :)

A new GizMag is up: http://gizmag.eu/issue/64/

Roland Tamayo’s art is so freakin awesome. You have got to take a look at it. It’s basically about big whales in beautiful landscapes. Find a link to his website in the latest web issue: http://gizmag.eu/issue/63/.

I just enabled the new homepage for GizMag.eu. I’ve been thinking to change it for a long time, and I finally managed to do it. I hope with this update you will be able to find your way more easily through the site. I know it might have been a information overload in the past, so it was due for a change.

I basically divided the website in 3 categories. The first one is Web Magazine (where it all began). The second one is PDF Magazine. And last but not least, the new section Spotlight, which holds articles on some general stuff I like. :) Instead of spreading these in the 3 columns on 1 page, I gave each of them their own spot in the middle of the homepage. You will have to click one more time before you can see the web magazine, but  you know it’s worth it, and I think it makes navigating a lot easier. :P

Let me know what you think!

Today (after 1 week) we hit 1.000 downloads on the latest PDF. It’s my official counter on the website. If I have to believe my webhost’s stats, the PDF has more than 14.000 hits. So if you want to believe that one, it’s okay too. :P

More great stuff in the new GizMag web edition: http://gizmag.eu/issue/60/

By the way, have you downloaded the new PDF yet? I gotta tell ya, it’s pretty cool… And we are close to a 1000 downloads in the first week! Whohoo! Thanks everybody.
