What a fun way to start the week. I loooove getting packages through the mail. But I doooo hate the post office. It made me wait 5 days for my package, because of a holiday (which should only have been 1 day). And another hour of waiting in line today. Anyway…

Packages!

The big package came from 64 Colors, the little one is from Otaku. Look at this peeping surprise! :)

Peep!

It’s the Marshall toy designed by 64 Colors saying hello!

The other package, which seems to be something small, is just packed with eye-candy!

I’ll leave you with these awesome prints of 64 Colors to drool over. Okay, stop that now. See what you’ve done to your keyboard. Get your own prints!

Two weeks ago I ordered this comic from Michel Gondry, We Lost The War But Not The Battle. And it finally arrived today. It’s his debut album. I know it already came out last year, but I didn’t know until recently he made comic books. :) The story is about 4 friends who are called back in their 40′s to join the French army. They are sent on a mission to fight a group of communists wanting to take over Île-de-France. Yes that sounds a bit crazy, but it’s funny as hell. And the story has more where that came from. Guns, girls, booze, blood and explosions. Definitely one for your collection!

If you want a copy, you can order it from his website.

David Hughes published his second Koodoo magazine. Each issue has a different colour scheme, is printed on coated card and put together by hand. And they come with a cool button! And if that’s not enough for you, it’s absolutely free! :) All you have to do, is send him a message with your address.

For more information you can visite the Koodoo group on Concrete Hermit, or Dave’s website.

I can’t believe it took me 2 days to post this… But I received my copy of Doodlezine this week, and it’s absolutely fantastic! I love these little self-published magazines (of course I do).

Some time ago, I made a mixtape for a friend. And I kinda forgot about it, because for some reason the playlist was deleted in iTunes. But today at work I found it again. Listened to it. And I still liked it a lot. So I decided to put it up here. :)

It’s a mix of soft songs, which make me feel like everything is going to be all right. I hope you’re going to enjoy it. And let’s mark this as the start of the GizMag Mixtapes.

It's All Good

Yeah, the cover is not that great… Anyway… You can download the mix here:
