I set up my lomo homepage today. Been struggling a little bit with it. It’s just not that user-friendly… But anyway, here it is, it’s just a start.

In less than 2 weeks the PDF magazine has been downloaded over 1000x! Thanks everybody. I hope you all enjoy it. And don’t hesitate to send me some comments or thoughts.

A little bit later than usual (but it’s still weekend, right?), a new web issue is published.

It’s only have been a few days, and the 3rd PDF has already been downloaded almost 500 times! Both the 1st and 2nd PDF have been downloaded over 4000 times now, so I think we are on the right track. :)

Also I read some nice things about the new PDF magazine. Check out the featured artist’s blog of Camilla d’Errico, Leontine Greenberg, Veuch, and Stick-A-Thing. Thanks for blogging about it guys! Much appreciated.
And of course, also thanks for all other cool people blogging about GizMag!

Oh. Don’t forget to take a look at the latest web issue #38. It’s stuffed with deviantART profiles.

Update. Thanks to Designer In Action, we are now way passed the 500 downloads. Thanks! And remember, I love to hear all your thoughts about the magazine. Leave them on this blog, send them by email, or invite me for a drink… :P

Two nice links for today:

In GizMag I try to include some fashion related websites from time to time. I’m not an expert at all, but I think that fashion is important to define our personal style. And when I’m walking down the street, I enjoy observing people to see how they express themselves through their clothing style.

For me, fashion is rather limited to a jeans and a T-shirt. That’s what I’m wearing now, what I wore yesterday, and probably tomorrow as well. When I go shopping for clothes, most of the time I’m annoyed with the fact that most shops only sell women’s clothing. So, still being a single guy, there is no reason for me to be in there at all. If the shop does have a department for men, it is usually located somewhere on the top floor, next to the clothing for children between 0 and 12 years.

Anyway. So, I do browse for fashion on the web. Blogs like Face Hunter are fun to explore, it’s inspiring. I also follow the blog Set Your Style, which recently started with a PDF magazine. (Too bad it’s still only in Italian.) My personal favourite blog is probably I Love Your T-shirt. It’s from the same people behind PANOS. And today I came across Lookbook. An invitation only community, where you can show off your outfits.

I hope these links might inspire you too. And if you have more too share with me. Please do so.

Coincidence or not. I was just clicking some pictures at We hear it, and ended up on this blog. Recognize her? It’s a small world, even on the world wide web… :)

You probably know visual bookmarking websites like We heart it and FFFFOUND!. And it is all fun and beautiful. But why keep people bookmarking a relative path to an image somewhere on a website’s constant changing homepage?

This is where TinEye can save your day! It is an image search engine. Not like Google Images, but it has its own identification system to find your images or an alternation. They are still in private beta testing, and still indexing most of the world wide web. But it already helped me a lot.
